Props to B.Scott for the COY

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Tue Apr 29, 2008 8:27 pm

I wished Zen Master won that honor , but oh well .

A Laker legend happened to take it , Props .

Loved Byron as a player and a coach , he truly is a Laker and I have this funny feeling he will become the Lakers coach after P.J decides to retire .
Props to the City of N.O and their team .

I would hope the same too, but I dunno. Unless it's on bad terms (like the first and last time), I think Phil would be able to pick his successor and he's going to pick from his assistants IMO.

Congrats to Byron Scott.
A truly great job. He is an awesome coach.
I think Phil Jackson did an equally amazing coaching job. On top of that, he also was instrumental in managing a very difficult environment in the summer and early season with the turmoil around the Lakers.

I would have given the award to Phil but Byron is also very deserving.
I think Adelman did a great job also.

I hope when Phil retires, the Lakers go after Byron for coach.

FTW , As these series are getting more serious and we are getting deeper into the finals .
All I can say is and no disrespect ment to this board or its mods BUT **** EVERYBODY outside of the Lakers .
Kobe is the MVP , P.J is Coach of the year and Sasha is the Machine and Ronny cant dance for ISH ...LOLLL

The only way we can make everyone STFU and eat there words is by winning the CHIP ......

Nothing more nothing less .

We have to win the CHIP .

We as Lakers are despised by everyone cause of the success of this franchise and every team and every fan envys us but Envy btings jelousy and hatered .
We all know that .
So to rain on everyone MVPs , and COTY we need to win the CHIP ...Period .

I would have giving it to Adelman. he is the only coach that did something really impressive. I mean you can't be impressed about winning a lot more games than last year because Boston pwnd NO in that category, the Lakers did almost the same with a bunch of injuries and a whole lot more turmoil than NO, so I would go with the Rockets coach.

I voted for Adelman in the RealGM poll. No disrespect to Byron, but the biggest factor in NO's success is that they simply stayed healthy.

Congrats to Byron Scott. He's done an incredible job with his young team. I've always admired his confidence and resolve. He's a very bright and focused individual and that has spread to his entire roster.
