he said he'd drop 80 on a team if the crowd at staples was cheering for the away team like fans cheer for the lakers when they are on the road.

Do you guys think he could drop 80 if he wanted again almost anytime he wanted? I personally think he could get 101 and I think he should next year when Bynum is back and the Lakers are 4 strong and when they are in first place on pace to win 70 games and they are playing a crappy team they know they could beat and the other team has nobody to put on Kobe they should have him break the record. They would probably win the game anyway and I believe it would be good for the game and probably solitify him as the best ever. Wilt did it yes but he couldn't do it now with all the talent and the size of the players now. Alot of the centers he went up against and the competetion he went up against wouldn't even be in the league now.
The league is the most talented and deepest now then it's ever been. Teams now have 3 stars and sometimes even more and still don't make the playoffs.

yep and some people don't understand that. kobe could go all out and win games, but he is trusting his teammates more, and it is paying off. kobe could careless about stats and espn highlights. he has been that. now all he wants to do is win and i am glad he is on my favorite team.

let's be realistic. Kobe loves to take over a game. He just doesn't like to do it, if he's going to lose.

You know the great thing about that quote? Only 2 people in history could actually say that and be believed. They're both from Philly. One is Kobe, the other is dead.

Let's cheer for the Jazz and shout MVP for Deron

Maybe Kobe will score 100
