NBA Most Valuable Player Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers headlines the First Team, as the NBA announced the 2007-08 All-NBA Teams today. Bryant is joined on the First Team by Kevin Garnett of the Boston Celtics , Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic , LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets .

The All-NBA Second Team consists of Phoenix

Not to mention, "Kobe Bryant added another honor Thursday to go with his MVP award, becoming the only unanimous selection to the All-NBA team." Just thought I'd throw that out there..

wouldnt it be awesome if kobe...

-1st place in west
-wins mvp
-all nba first team
-all nba defensive team
-nba finals
-win the ship
-finals mvp
-gold medal

and its crazy cause...all of this is VERY likely

Please don't jynx us. Let's leave him be. Of course we're happy and excited for him but if we get ahead of ourselves something crappy is going to happen like the Bynum injury.

He was, but Hakeem did something sicker in 1994 when he became the only player ever to take down all 3 major awards in the league in the same season (MVP, DPOY, Finals MVP). To this day, no one else has achieved that.

Didn't MJ do that? He won the scoring, defensive and Finals MVP IIRC.

MJ never got MVP, DPOY and Finals MVP in the same season.

He got DPOY once in his career, and was MVP the same season, but James Worthy was the Finals MVP that season.

He won MVP and Finals MVP in the same season several times though.
