I've never been the type to be make loose boasts, but if we had a healthy Andrew Bynum giving us 30 good minutes a night I'd be tempted to just pencil us in for the title. Oh well -- it's not an option so no use worrying about it now.

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed we can figure out what's wrong with him and get him on the road to recovery for next year.

Yeah, pisses me off to no end that Bynum still can't get healthy. We'd be a mortal lock with him in the lineup looking like he did in his last game of the season: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGywI2ijZ_c

He runs the floor like a deer and he's rather quick on his feet on defense.

Funny, I also always thought of him as a gazelle. :D

Thanks for posting that, EHL. Yeah, he was just starting to get a hang of it all. Some hang at that, too

Gasol is deceptive with his reach, because his footspeed is actually fairly slow. He doesn't really beat his defenders, he just extends those arms for a surprising dunk. It's a terrific attribute for him, and it helps our team.

On the other hand, why isn't he using that reach to grab more rebounds? Because his base and upper body is weak. Oh, well, can't have everything.

I think the real question is, who has the longest legs in the NBA?

*chirp* *chirp*

gasol has a problem landing after jumping for a rebound, he is prone to end on the floor because of that. Is not that much the rebound itself, but the landing. Thats why he some times tentative with it. It seems like every time he goes up for and actually looks up, he looks like his legs are not in the proper position. Yao ming has the same problem but lands a little bit better
Thats why radmanovic, ariza , walton are so important, gasol cant get all those with two hands, but can touch every one of those, ask battier, he was on the hunt for those kind of rebounds in memphis and got lots of them

That whole arm thing does in fact intrigue me. He doesn't even have to jump to dunk! Awesome.
