Team NickName

Post#1 » by KobeNLakeShow » Fri May 9, 2008 9:44 pm

I was on lunch at work right now and was listening to 570 or 710 one of those stations and they were talking about possible nicknames for this current Laker team. I don't know about you guys but this is my favorite team since the 4 all-star team. (I wasn't in the country when the showtimes lakers were at it) So like the "Showtime" Lakers should this team have a nickname, yes they haven't won anything yet but they are fun to watch and things should get even better next year when everyone is healthy...so any ideas for nick names for this team?

A couple of people on the radio suggested...

The Great Lakes...IN REP. of the 5 LAKES (STARTING 5)
Purple Riegn was another one....

Any IDeas?

In relation to our starting five, the Great Lakes is out -- we start Vladimir Radmanovic, and he is the polar opposite of great.
