DJ Mbenga Chris Mihm Ira Newble Coby Karl Why?

Post#1 » by timebandit » Sat May 10, 2008 11:57 pm

Why not go deeper when you have too? DJ Mbenga could of helped out a nice little jumper big body guy. Chris Mihm he has been able to play why not play him at all? Ira Newble could help when Luke is at his worse. Then there's Coby Karl now this kid has Defense and can block shots and has more game right now then Famar who has been a bum and he should be benched without a doubt! LETS GO LAKERS!!!

I agree that Mbenga can block shots and wear down their big men a but Coby Karl in the playoffs? How do you even assert that he plays better defense when he hasn't played more than 2 mins in trash time at a stretch in the regular season? Its like expecting a miracle if you want him to do something for you in the 2nd rd of a tough match up.

I agree that Farmar has been crappy so far but it should open up more minutes for Sasha at PG than anyone else. As far as I know, he's one dude that can play perimeter defense and not get beaten 1 on 1 everytime.

Sasha can do whatvever Coby can 2X better and I can't see how Coby will have the opportunity to block any shots in an NBA game.

IIRC DJ makes around 96k per season. That makes him worth 10X his pay check.
