1972 NBA finals Lakers vs Knicks on youtube

Courtesy of Point Forward from the media thread, these are the youtube links to the 1972 NBA finals between the Lakers and Knicks.

Lakers players include legends like Wilt Chamberlain/Jerry West and Gail Goodrich.

Also watch out for Phil Jackson vs Pat Riley going against each other as players.

Again, big thanks to Point Forward for coming up with this for I always wanted to watch an old NBA game and the legends that we compare our current players with. Especially watching Jerry West was awesome for me.

I really liked the pace of the game, more up and down than today's teams and Wilt Chamberlain is a monster on the boards even with both hands plastered severely after an injury and playing through without oain killers. :o

Nice ! Now I really understand why the three point line revolutionized the entire basketball.
Hot start and nice shooting by the Lakers ! It's a less physical basketball, everything looks a bit different !

Thank's, j-far !

Lack of ball and player movement by the Lakers.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
