My bad about the Crawford....................it was Joey the one everybody was crying about.

Because he didn't make the foul call on Fish.

Crawford will call everything. We could face foul trouble once again. either way lakers need to refrain from exploding at the refs.

The calls tonight were so bs, especially when it came at crucial time, but when the game is done, they start calling it fairly.

Hopefully, the refs at home will help us out like the refs for the Celts.

How about the 4 steps KB took, or the 5 steps Vlad took, back to back mind you, in the 4th. Neither were called for traveling while both looked like they were sprinting back to LA.
You guys came back and made it a game. Stop trying to find excuses.
The C's are the best defensive team in the L, the Lakers have one great defender, thus the difference in FT's. Good defenders don't foul on every other drive.
No way were there more bad calls for one team or the other. It was pretty much even.

ok just on my own personal count........Gasol on alley oop he hit w/ left hand they showed kg foul....only revist by annoucners..........then we had Farmar too the hoop and he get pulled on elbow....forced into 360 behind head layup and end of play boston hits a three.....that coolll...........pau two fisted by Rondo that announcer says he was robbed by rondo aggression.....nxt play....pau at end of quarter from 2 feet on reb twice no call.........however leon powe got ever single call and then some on his attempts....and abc has piece on him at half wow what tv............nxt half......................kobe to rim on same play he gets tech no call still makes it....ok if they counting same foul like ronnie got on his blk of powe i think it was in second half what happened on kobe three.......................he got killed no calllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll againnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn........then up 24 lol they decided lets not make it so obivious so lets call boston on reach inssssssssssssssss what a fuc innnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggjokeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
unbelievable.................................last non call was kobe after pierce scored on kg screen...........to the hole
nice hoop
kobe comes back gets fouled
scores w/ left hand and fouled on it but kobe scorers only for 2 and no calllllllllll......and what irks me the most all fuc inggggggggggggggggggggggggg game long it's boston dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd

i told my friend in 1st half alone their was around 5 bad callsssssssssssssssss
that turned at least ten pts
such a joke of a game
and best part was no replays by ABC such an injustice
if someone acutally taped game.......you could see the calls
and when pau was fouled and made hoop breen annoucers was like dont know abou that one but oh well it's boston's d
what a joke man so bullshit--abc speical paul pierce holdign trophy during intermisson and his knees bull.....van gundy usually says ok his playing so it not injury he looks fine.......if it was kobe he would guarnteee say something......
however this game van gundy allows breen to go on and on he looks ok
his knee is wrapped no ill effects yet
what a farce of a game on ref side and annoucers i expect more from van gundy but the rest i expect zero like they added joke joke joke.......

You got me. The refs give all the calls to players like Leon Powe??!!??
You are an LA fan, so you've obviously seen close to a decade of opposing players look at KB and get whistled.
If any team in the league shoudn't complain about ghost fouls, it's definitely whatever team Bryant is on.
Regardless, is tonight's calls why you lost game 1 also?
And yeah, every player waits his entire career to reach the finals, and then plays out a fake injury in the most important game of his life strictly for the drama of it all. And also pre-arranges his teamates to carry him, and the wheelchair.
Do you hear what you're saying??? Common sense???

yo 16 and rising i'm not saying powe didn't get fouled all i'm saying is that the Lakers get smoked all on at least at the rim attempts in 1st half that their is proof of that could change score and tempo of the game....as a couple non calls resulted in transiton pts for Boston............as far as ghoust falls go if Kobe avgs like 8 in regular season and vs boston dont' get to avg 1 a game then something is wrong...sure D plays a part but a diff of 7 a game no.....not a chance in the world of B ball in is strickly how boston d is recieved by these refs...gasol made awesome hoop and only replay by ABC describing or revistied such a call confirmed that so you can lick your ghoust calls all the way to the bank.........................Gasol got hacked on three occaions, kobe at least twice and farmar plain and simple...meanwhile leon powe all star was getting evercall in the book and that is how it went dwn plain and simple ..........................i'll get the footage and show you......................................such an injusticeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........i'm not saying it was 50 calls
i'm saying at least 7 or 8
at that point the refs call less because of the lead
if they call lakers fouls it is tie game dwn stretch obv..... Lakers have 2 fts in first half to boston 28 i think.....so Boston D fence that is all up in lakers grill nose to nose don't foul because they so good
who you kidding--old man ray allen, rondo, kg pierce and perkins not great on d IMO--goood at collapsing in the paint for 15 sec plus yes

Phil Jackson had a good quote about Leon Powe and the officiating.

It won't be hard to find.

The refs should be consistent.

As much as I like Pierce and KG, the Celtics shouldn't have won w/ this huge of an advantage at the line.

This reminds me of that Knicks vs Heat game where the Heat got about 30-35 more FTs than the Knicks or something like that.

They were THE BEST DEFENSIVE TEAM THIS SEASON. That's not an opinion, that's a fact. Look at the stats, or at the games themselves.
Great defensive teams are not made up by great defenders, they happen because of great team defense.
Besides, we'll all be going to LA for the next 3 games. If it's home cookin', then I'm sure you guys will get your due. I have a hard time beleving the fix is in for Boston. The L has been trying to push Kobe forever and if it was up to them, I'm sure they would prefer a Lakers championship.
You do have a point on a lot of those calls, but that's part of playing in a league with inconsistant, sometimes incompotent, refs. We all get those games. I just don't think it's fair to overlook every other part of the game and decide the only reason the C's won was because of bad calls.
Like I said earlier, you guys came back and scared the living s*@t out of all the Boston fans. It's a long series, and I'm sure there will be a clear cut, deserving, winner either way.
Best of luck. ( Well, not to much luck)

BTW, did anybody complain during the Spurs series when the refs practically handed you the conference championship?

I didnt see any Lakers complain about calls in the Utah Jazz series. But excuses shouldnt be made and I thought there were bad calls and good no calls for each team.

Utah fouled about 8 of those to make it seem more exaggerated. The Cs still got calls at the end of game. The Lakers had identical rebounds and TO and shot more than 20 shot more than the celtics did in the key (thye only shot 23 times inside the key).

Dear God. Punctuate, man! You might have some good points but there's no way I'm going to sift through that pile of periods and lower-case letters, and then try to translate it into English.
