We went from nothing to something.

Went from the trashes of the West to the best of the West.

Thank you for such a great season.

Couldn't have asked for more.

Even though last night ranks as one of my embarrassing moments in 20-plus years as a Laker fan, I must admit that overall this was a wildly successful season. The longer I'm spending tooling around here today and checking things out, the better I'm feeling about how the Finals turned out. I think we have some work to do to fine-tune the roster, and I have doubts/questions about the major pillars of our team. Which is the key -- fine-tuning, compared to the heavy lifting we were facing this time last year. November can't get here fast enough.
