Trades and Trade Rumors

I thaught back to all the years when the lakers made trades, deadlines would come and go, draft day came and went, are we moving up or down, we should trade for this guy and that guy. The bottom line is Lakers make trades when no one expects them to, never have the lakers made trades to make trades I.E. (New Jersy Minisota, Minisota Boston) durning the hype time, and we all get hyper on why can't we trade for this guy and that guy. We have to trust our team and trust in their abilities to do there job. Lets stop anylizing and lets sit back and wait for the full house to come. Lets post trades that actually happen. What do you guys think?

Jerry and Mitch are actually pretty good about putting up smokescreens and most times proposed deals simply dont get done for one reason or another. So yes your right we are actually not so successful in our speculation regarding trades, however it's one of the main attractions here.

We all like to guess and speculate about who is going and who is coming. It's fun learning about the CBA and Salary Cap, so i dont see trade specualtions and discussion going away because once again it's one of the main reasons alot of people even come to Real GM.

Because the guy who posted Kwame+ rookie n picks for Pau Gasol is still getting free drinks anytime he goes out
... Even though he probably got a verbal beatdown from bballfreak, smills, conleyorbust and hinrichpolice and all the others at the time!

Very true OP, but.. What's the point in having such a great forum without discussing possibilities. Ironic. This would have never been brought about during the dark ages of the Post-Shaq trade. Lesson learned for us all that patience is a virtue.

Man...I hope the Clippers thing hits a snag which forces Brand to demand a trade to Miami....Wade-Brand-Beasley would be insane.

You say during the season that the Kings dont want and or need expiring contracts because Ron is as good as opting out. You even mention reasons to the effect that he would opt out to secure his future.

Now its -- Ron will never opt out and give up the money. And you flip/flop like Ron -- when he says he wants to stay a King you are here in full force.. when he says he wants out and or indicates something different you are nowehre to be found.

You talk about "useless garbage" crap because you have some serious Anger issues. Many Laker fans have touted offering the Kings assets. Lamar, Farmar( in other deals) , picks , taking back "useless garbage" like Kenny Thomas.

Those are fair deals and probably better than you could ever get for him. Yet, you are here with all your anger you have against the lakers and act like you know it all.

Dont come here everynow and again when Ron changes his mind in you favor and talk down to us. Thats absurd.
