Plain and Simple........Bonzi!!!!!

Yes it has been talked about but Bonzi is the perfect fit. Legit 6 man that in the tringle man that can put up an easy 12 ppg and play aggressive D on any 2 or 3 in the league. Giving him time at the 2 and 3 for 20 mpg is big. Bynum is huge being 100% healthy now. Our offense really doesn't need help but our D does. And the biggest thing is PJ dreams of throwing a big back court on teams. Kobe,Bonzi, Odom, Gasol, & Bynum. That is a nice big line up during times of the game. And mixed with Farmar & Sasha gives us the slasher we need when PJ goes and sits Odom and Bryant for the same time like he does during periods of games. Boston beat us because we had no true center and didn't have the aggresive wing of the bench. Bynum is back and Bonzi takes care of the other piece.

It doesn't matter if other teams are after him or not. The fact is he fills needs for the Lakers. His career average of 12ppg & 4.5rpg at only 20 mpg along with his aggressive wing D on 2's and 3's is what we need. He does come very cheap which is also a plus. Our bench becomes way stronger and PJ can throw so many different rotations at teams and PJ loves to throw different rotations at teams to confuse and frustrate them. Bonzi is the type of piece that helps PJ do that. Boston beat us because a aggressive wing D and us not being able to confuse and frustrate them on both ends of the court with different rotations. Bonzi wasn't happy in Houston and guess what when most players are not happy in places they don't play the well. That is not uncommon in this league or any other professional sports league for that matter.

i actually think getting Bonzi is a good idea. We need him for big and strong SFs like Lebron and Pierce. All of our SFs (including Kobe) have problem against these 2. I'd say sign Bonzi, only for the minimum though
