Actually got to watch this game (thank you Raptors NBA TV).
Lamar's shot looked smooth. Looks like he's getting in shape, and he had some lift on his jump shots. He usually shoots it kind of flat footed or with a little lean in, but he went straight up and knocked them down.
Nice defensive game by Kobe, especially in help defense. I never thought Kobe would average more than 1.6 steals a game with his finger, but he very well could.
What a game by Andrew. Finally showed some of that explosiveness. He had good hang time when he jumped. His timing is still a little bit off, but it's coming. Come December/January, he's going to be a force to be reckoned with. Stay healthy Drew, that's what we want.
Play of the Game: Andrew Bynum to Kobe for the right handed slam.
The thing I loved about this play, is you saw Bynum hold the ball, and POINT to KOBE BRYANT and tell him to post up. You don't see that out of a 20 year old, telling the best player in the game what to do. Kobe listened, posted up, got position on his man, and Bynum delivered a beautiful pass to 24 for the aggressive dunk.
You can tell Drew has a high basketball IQ. Have we ever seen anyone point to Kobe and tell him what to do in a game besides Phil or Fish? What a play. My jaw dropped.
Good activity by Drew as well to grab pretty much every board in traffic between JO and Bosh.
As far as the Raps, JO looks healthy for the first time in a long time, and they're going to be a top team in the East. Can't wait to see these teams hook up on Feb. 4th in person.
