If we could mix Ariza's defense and slashing ability with Vlad Rad's shot, we'd have our perfect SF.

Farmar pushed it a bit too far against Westbrook but he did get his revenge when he forced him into successive turnovers there.

and yeah Drew's been very active and his timing is getting in sync with everyone else.

The arc on Radman's shot is amazing!

This crowd is pretty lively and into it for a pre-season game. You take the Lakers to the 909 and you get a real crowd that's pumped and into it. Unlike the "scene-ster's" of LA heads you get in the front rows at Staples.

Phil might wanna take the unit on the floor and frame it. Perfect spacing and triangle execution on that play.

I haven't been very impressed with Bynum. He's been rushing shots any time he's trying to create on his own, and in this game he is not bringing the same intensity on rebounding and defense like last season. His timing is better now, but he's not ready to play like he did yet.

bynum is still young, when he sees someone like petro on the other side, his intensity suffers. put him against a big name player and he's all out effort. part of the growing process.

What exactly happened between Farmar and Westbrook ?

Pretty good game overall, killing the pick'n rolls in defense, playing well...

Probably got into it while playing a pick up game at UCLA, remember if Jordan had stayed in school Russell wouldn't have been at UCLA anyway. The scholarship only opened up because Jordan left. They have that rule on how many scholarships can be made available in a year, I'm not sure but I think one year it's two and the next year it's three.

Don't worry SashAlex, it'll surface some day.

Well.. I guess the OKC owner had his daughter design the team's uniforms and his son choose the team name. May be he was feeling the pinch from the economy.

I'm such a junkie. Had an assignment two hours out of town, didn't get home until 1 a.m., still stayed up to watch a stupid preseason game that I easily could have watched this morning. Wasn't going to, but I saw Andrew's stat line and I couldn't resist.

Again, the guy who stood out most to me was Farmar. Gotta love guys who take their offseasons seriously. He is looking Parkeresque. Except Tony can't jump like Jordan; naturally.

To be fair that was everyone on the team, sans Jordan who was in a personal battle of his own. Who wants to play the Thunder? They have to be the most unexciting team in the league. Our fans were so bored, they did the wave. The WAVE. When was the last time you saw that in a basketball game? I don't think I've ever seen it...maybe at a Clippers game, but that's because they were a team much like the Thunder.

Even Kobe was goofing around. Did you see him with Pau and Lamar? It was our last preseason game against the youngest, least talented team in the league. Nobody is an exciting match up. You've got Durant who is a perennial 3-13 type shooter until they get some talent around him. It's almost embarrassing how bad their big men are. Joe Smith is like an all-star on that team. He's 33 years old. No wonder Bynum wasn't pumped up.

I wouldn't hold too much stock into his performance micro, the regular season is going to be a completely different atmosphere. Though it's sort of funny to see someone with a line: 23pts/8r/3blks on 10/15 shooting and still be disappointed. He wasn't intense because he didn't have to try.

It's not just this game though. He's been getting beat on rebounding by much smaller guys. I know that this is preseason, but for a guy who have only played well for half a season he should be serious about this. Either he's slacking or he's still not up to his old form.
