We outscored them by 45 points -- 45 points!!! -- from early in the second quarter on. Give up 28 in the first quarter, still hold them to 82 overall. Outstanding.

Unsung hero of the game -- I thought Andrew did a great job leaning on Yao and making him work. That's all you can do with a player like that. He and the rest of the team did a fabulous job protecting the rim and making Houston scramble for points.

Last season we had a statistically solid defense, but it was fool's gold. This year we are playing legitimately great on that end -- excellent scheme, excellent effort, excellent teamwork. It's still early, but if we keep D'ing up like that, and stay healthy, I'm just not seeing any way we don't cash in.

Yeah but that luxury is gone bye bye now, bottom line is you gotta play him straight up or play an illegal zone ( cough..cough like the Celtics ).

We are very, very, VERY good.

If we come out of this next week still undefeated, I'm bold enough to say we can potentially go after 70.

Great game guys, you really tore us apart. AS you can see our offense was terrible and then our defense was even more terrible. You guys look really good right now, good luck for the rest of the season, hopefully Kobe and the rest of the gang will stay healthy, it sucks to watch injured players. I've had too much experience watching injured players by watching the Rockets, I'm tired of it.

Its early but the Lakers are rolling. If they play this type of D in the playoffs they will be very tough to beat.

Can anyone give me a quick recap of the game?

I wasn't able to watch it.
