Smush without a doubt.

can't blame walton for trying to get paid. and he only has so much physical talent, that was on the F.O. and maybe Kobe (they resigned walton when kobe was doing his "trade me demands" FO was prolly sh*tting bricks)

Smush was given a great chance, had some physical talent he was just too stupid to take advantage of that chance and doubted himself and the team. He was an anchor around the neck of the Lakers and brought almost nothing to the team.

I voted Kwame just due to we were playing him 9 million and we gave him 27 mil for 3 years or some number close to that.

too include Penberthy strengthens Smush. If smush tried 1/2 as hard as penberthy did given his abilities when his head was on straight (that was like for 30 secs at a time) he'd be an all star

Brian Cook deserves an honorable mention.

I voted for Radamnovic.

Big contract, but underachieving? check.
Me before team? Let down his teammates by going snowboarding during the season, check.
Slap to the face of the franchise by lying about it? check.
Selfish on the court, jacking up a three nearly every time he touches the ball? Check.
Not giving a crap about defense or winning? Check.
Costing us a championship, possibly the biggest factor in our loss to the Celtics. Check.

Sorry, a few games into the season hasn't changed my mind. Don't like his attitude, demeanor, his priorities, his game.

I'm pleasantly surprised that he hasn't turned into a disruptive force on the team, in fact, his teammates seem to generally tolerate or even like him, so I'll give him credit for an underrated personality.

Still, I have a lot of anger towards this guy.

I agree with most points but being a selfish chucker is definitely not part of him. Radman has looked to make the pass than shoot most of the time last season and infact Kobe was pissed at him for passing up a shot in one of the games.

I'd rather say that about Sasha or Farmar before Radman.

Samaki, good god that guy may be one of the worst players ever.

Except for Smush

Not only was he terrible, but he played a lot of minutes AND he was a cancer to the team. When you go to a 60 loss team and can't get minutes ahead of Chris Quinn and some D-leaguers then you are god awful. I, and this is no joke, could have done better as the Lakers PG playing along side of Kobe. The ONLY good thing Smush ever did for us was play minutes for the Clips last year against us. Hello easy win :)

Madsen was terrible, but he rebounded and always played hard. Medvendenko was bad, but his jumper was money and if you remember, he saved us in a few games from time to time.

Kwame was serviceable defensively and on the boards and was ok offensive when he was healthy and consistent. Plus he got us Gasol. Terrible yes, worse then Smush, no :)

Vlad get a little too much hate sometimes. Offensively he was great for most of the year last year, our O was best when he was on. Defensively he was horrible and he was inconsistently 'into' games. But he is and has been far more valuable then any guy on this list. He rebounds very well for the 3 spot and is a gifted offensive player, he's an underrated passer, finishes well at the rim, and is usually at least in the right spot.

In my own mind!

Ogden, UT hoop it up legend! Hit 8 straight 3s and pulled off the Dr. J behind the backboard move to win the divisional champ game! Legend for reals!

I was pretty good, I walked on to the UofU the year after they went to the final game. Blew my ACL for the 2nd time though :/ I shot 80% from 3 in high school.

But seriously, I could have gambled on D and been 'The Matador' for opposing PGs ;) Offensively with Kobe going off for 35 a night and getting constant double and triple teams one thing I always had was my stroke. I would have drained WIDE open 3s all day and not made stupid decisions. Neither of which Smush could do

Smush got my vote.

I'd much rather have the Lincoln Slavigator over the Cadillac Smushcalade any day.

My vote go to........Smush
That dude wouldn't even try most nights, on top of having an attitude.

Kwame was just frustrating because we had such high hopes for him. At least he played decent low post D.

Kwame by a landslide. Everyone else had a good stretch of games (even Parker, especially in the playoffs vs the Suns), except this cake-throwing-no-hands-loser.

As of right now, VladRad has no place in that list anymore. Out of the remaining 5, everyone (save for one) had a good quality:
1. Slava. Honestly, who didn't love the guy? Perhaps he couldn't really play that well, but his interviews were all heart.
2. Mad Dog. Sure, he was a scrub, but he also delivered one of the greatest Championship Parade speeches in history of pro sports. Of course that was not enough for the Dog. After leaving his mark during the 2002 Playoffs, averaging a sizzling 0.3 rebounds in 1.4 minutes per game, he once again demonstrated his unique rhetoric skills.
3. Kwame. Kwame. Kwame. Sure the deal for Caron looks like the grand larceny in hindsight and he might've been responsible for the worst sequence of basketball in the history of the league. (There is of course the part 2 of the same game... But the guy could at least play defense and offered comic relief on a nightly basis.
4. Luke Walton had a whole season of above-averageness in comparison to these other players and to be fair, he was injured last season. I don't like him, but having a guy who could be a legitimate 6th man on quite some teams come in as a 3rd string SF for garbage minutes only is a plus and means that our team is stacked as hell.

So, by subtracting each player, I've come to the decision, that Smush Parker was the worst Laker of the ones available. Although guys like Samaki Walker, Mike Penberthy, John Celestand, Travis Knight, Jelani McCoy, Tierre Brown, Brian Cook and others from the past decade might ferociously object.

Beniot Benjamin is the worst Laker ever. We traded away Sam Perkins and Doug Chirsty to get this guy.
