I think if LBJ somehow becomes a Laker, Kobe would one of the main reasons as to why he is one.

Step 1: Resign Kobe to MLE money.
Step 2: Resign Lamar to MLE money.
Step 3: Trade Vlad & Luke for capspace.
Step 4: Sign LBJ in 2010.
As you can see, the chances are pretty slim. Even with Kobe's salary off the books, I doubt we even have the capspace to offer LBJ a max contract.
