He's not good in the NBA level at least.....not yet. He is so not ready. He might be worse than Luke, wait is that even possible? Besides, our depth chart is too deep...no way he cracks the rotation.

He's been where he's always been...behind the bench and training when he can.

He seems to be wearing this suit a lot.

Elie also did a video about him, calls him "Yi"....which is the guy that plays for the Nets

But here's some latest news on him that u can read.

Q: What is the best coaching advice you've ever received?

A: Right now the most important thing is to work on reading the offense. I'm trying to get an idea of how the triangle offense works. They want me to know all the positions in the triangle. I watch tape every day and I write down notes on paper everyday. It's a very big job. The coach told me that some people take two or three seasons to understand this offense.

I'm starting to get it. This triangle offense is very famous for being very hard to learn. You need time to get in it. It's very deep. Look at my teammates, they have been playing with each other for three or four seasons. They know it now. For me, it will take a while.

Sun Yue also might be going to the D-League.....

Lakers coach Phil Jackson said Monday that he would talk with rookie guard Sun Yue, regarding Sun’s likely assignment with the Lakers’ D-League affiliate, the Los Angeles Defenders.

However, as of Tuesday night, Sun said he still had not spoken with Jackson on that subject.

haha.. mmmmm i want some lol.

It's best that he plays in the dleague.. so that he can at least get some playing time and get better. I don't think he's at the nba level just yet. Just like Coby and Farmar.. I still remember one time Farmar playing in the Dleague that same day and then got called up to play in the NBA. lol

^

Sun Yue is doing exactly what he was brought here to do — selling Lakers merchandise in China. I'd love to see him play in a game at some point this season, but I doubt it will happen.

He wasn't all that great in preseason, no way he get's regular bench minutes this season. I thought he'd be better, but now I'm starting to wish we kept Marc instead. Idk, maybe the Chinese Magic will emerge.

without an injury to ANY of our guards/small forwards, sun yue isnt going to dress...

but hey! if only ONE of anyone gets hurt, hes automatically next in line to suit up as a guard/SF

and if one of those games goes into garbage time, Sun WuKong might make an appearance...

its not too farfetched to see it happen...

he just needs to continue to bulk up up his 175 lb frame
