Long story short, we supposed to win this game and I'm glad we did.

The whole bench should have gotten minutes in.

As long as our core is healthy, I'm feeling good about the outlook of this team.

We still do have things to smooth out a few things but the only glaring weakness seems to be our PG position.

There will be a few cures available around the trading deadline.

Anyone wanna tell me how our defense looked today?

On paper, it looks like we did a good job and we really shut down a very good rookie shooter (that Anderson kid) that was fire for 2 games last week.

Imma knockout, but I'll check back later to see whats up - in case anyone wants to respond.
The defensive intensity picked up after the 1st quarter but especially in the 2nd half. They almost gave up 30 in the 1st quarter (28). The game was tied in the 3rd quarter @ 66 Verb then we put the brakes on, on defense & we put the skates on, on offense. Overall I'd give us a B tonight

It is somewhat inflated (deflated?), but it's not that far off from what they shot in the 3rd and was following a trend which showed our defense was getting better and better. BTW, the Nets didn't get a basket until the 5:22 mark of the 4th.

2nd: 8-22 (36%)
3rd: 6-24 (25%)
4th: 3-17 (18%)

* I think these are correct... I used the play-by-play and tallied up hits/misses.

The first half looked like last year. The second half looked more like it should. Good finish. Man, this team's depth is insane. It seems extremely hard for all other teams to keep up with our "bench". Was it 56 points for the mob? Pretty impressive. Odom with another good game, Ariza with a stellar game.

Thanks dude.

Hopefully the chemistry will get even better sooner rather than later and Kobe can save himself for closeouts, big games and the playoffs.

Oh.. does anyone know how his pinky is doing?

The defense turned better with the 2nd unit and even Gasol was trapping and helping out on the perimeter but you have to observe that the Nets' perimeter players were shooting an absurd % in the 1st quarter and they had to cool off sooner than later.

I like how the 3rd quarters have become the new 4th quarters for our team though, Pau and Kobe have been icing their feet the entire 4th Q for quite sometime now.

I'll take the latter verb. I don't want them to start peaking too early. I really want them to start geling around Feb & carry that momentum into the playoffs. I've seen a lot of teams peak to early & flop come the real season (playoffs) Bynum needs to get more touches so he can return to the form he had right around his injury time last year & we will be fine. Based on talent alone I have no doubt that the chemistry will come

Was great to win by so many but just turning it on won't work all the time. Just glad to see Bynum looking more polished offensively, he seems to be getting back into the swing of things.

^ 100% correct. That's what everone on the board here has been speaking of. We all want to see 48 minutes of consistancy or either 100% effort until garbage time
