Well, if we're not talking about shot blocking, I think it's a virtual dead heat in terms of strict, man-up defense.

If Kwame is better in this area than Andrew, it's by the slimmest of margins. I thought he did a decent job on Yao, and I thought he did a decent job on Duncan. Which is pretty much what Kwame would have done -- decent.

And as much as I agree that shot-blocking isn't necessary towards being a good interior defender, and that Andrew has been mediocre in this area, he at least gives you the potential. That's not even a factor with Kwame -- yet another deficiency in his game.

At any rate, I wasn't trying to get into another Kwame Brown debate, so my bad for picking one. Mea culpa. He's somebody else's problem now.
