My comment had to do with Phil's future plans.
One of my recent posted posts, I said that B. Scott along with having Rambis, Coop and Alcinder on staff would be a much needed change. That's what I meant, bring in a new Showtime back to L.A.... If you read the question I asked, "Do you really see Phil staying, key word staying, with the LAkers until he's done?" You responded, "yes". On your last post, you sounded as if he could retire for sure. Second point is, Phil has too much pride, listen to him. Phil has said that he hates traveling East or Central or Mountain times to play a game. I'm sure with the appropriate circumstance he'll be willing to coach a team 2 hours ahead of our time zone as his traveling would be less grueling, when you consider the time zone. Traveling East from the West sucks.
Disect this as you will. My point is, I don't see Phil beyond next season, be it retirement or otherwise, so, bring in B. Scott and Coop, Jabbar and Rambis are already LAkers; start a new LAkers dynasty, afterall, this is LAkers forum, not Phil's forum.

If Hubie Brown could coach as his age and make the Grizzlies relevant while he was there. It's not like Phil is suiting up to play, his chair looks comfortable as hell. Travel has a lot to do with it.
