I usually watch Lakers games,I watched the two first quarters and part of the third yesterday night, and, man,he is a Black hole,He is only worried about statistics, worse, about his stats. He is very similar to Rudy Gay in that sense, complete athlete, tons of potential, but a Basketball IQ very low.HE CAN´T PASS.

Come on,at least 4 times Pau was open to an easy shot/dunk and he tried to finish himself the play,so many times we have players opened and again,Bynum against the world,I hate that kind of players,I have to remember that Basketball is played by five mates, not just one.

And I have read that Bynum should become the second option on attack, and the 1st on the post, come on,Pau is way better attacking than Bynum, better IQ,better passing skills, better direction, better shot...He is less physical but much more versatile,Bynum has good games sometimes, but he is used to get into foul trouble soon.

He is so selfish, and he is not the monster on defense some people believe, come on,He jumps every time his man makes a fake,Jefferson scored at least 10 points that way.

I´m not a Bynum Hater xD,I just want the Lakers to win the championship, and we need Phil to say Bynum that he should take less shots, and try to find his teammates, specially Gasol,if they were more compenetrated would be aun unstoppable duo on the zone.Something like Gasol 20-9-4 and Bynum 16-11-2,but hey,If you just look to your stats, who cares?

I generally agree that Bynum could be a better/more willing passer. But I don't think it has anything to do with selfishness. At least, that's not how it feels to me. Rather, it's a young player, who has yet to develop that part of his game, and is on a pretty amazing roll right now.

You can't really compare the two in terms of passing. Simply put, Pau has a gift that not too many big men have in terms of his court vision and awareness. Most bigs are going to look selfish next to him. Typically, the hardest skill for an NBA center to master is dealing with the double team. I don't ever expect Andrew to be the second coming of Bill Walton, but surely he'll improve in the coming years.

Before then, I find it really hard to fault Andrew right now in terms of his offensive game. He's getting great looks and he's knocking them down at a very efficient rate. That's about all you can ask for from your center.

And he does look for his teammates. If I remember the sequence correctly, one of his better plays last night was a drop-down to Kobe for a layup. He also had a nice kick out to Kobe for a 3 to help bust open the Spurs game.

As for defense, he's been much better of late, but he still has a long way to go, particularly as a help defense. As do we as a team; we're just flat-out bad right now on this end.

I also seem to remember Gasol -- who I generally stick up for as being a much better defender than people give him credit for -- getting schooled a few times by Jefferson last night, so I wouldn't be pointing the finger solely at Andrew.

For the most part Andrew did a decent job on Jeff. Could have been better, but he generally made him work for his points, and that's about all you can do against an All-Star caliber player.

I don't get why people keep calling Bynum a ballhog. His shot attempts are still lower than Kobe and on the same level as Pau during the last few games. When more teams decide to double Bynum in the post he will pass more often. If the opportunity presents itself, why shouldn't Bynum try to score? You do realize he's been shooting 65% and can draw fouls better than Gasol. Averaging 15 shot attempts as a 2nd scoring option does not make one a ballhog. If anything Kobe has been hogging lately. There is absolutely no need for him to try and score 30 against lesser teams yet you keep seeing him shoot just to get into rhythm, and whenever he does that the whole team becomes less interested in playing defense.
