You guys really think Shaq & Kobe were the best 1, 2 punch ever? I don't at all. The LAL had some great teams and they were the two best players on the court, but they worked almost independent of one another. Wade and Kobe were more of a duo than Kobe, Shaq.

As far as the guy that said, "how many titles did Stockton Malone have, nuff said!," yeah I anticipated that answer tuffy tuff boy. Stockton Malone were fn great together, title or no title, they had much lesser teams than the Lakers ever had and they still were in the hunt year after year.

Kobe, Shaq, great players, on a great teams, but not the best 1,2 punch ever. Now if you said who were the best two players on the same team, then yes that would be a stronger discussion.

A 1,2 punch IMO is one that works in unison of one another, as I said above they worked nearly independent of one another. If they stayed together thru the years they would have been in the conversation as Kobe's game evolved into more of a playmaker, distributor, and less of a scorer.

Best ever duo, huh? Ever heard of Buck & Cap?

Snaq realizing he can't do **** without a good sidekick. At least he is willing to admit it.

I do actually hope Shaq makes an appearance in 2 seasons as a Laker, backing up Drew. I'm sure he can teach Drew a few things.

It's actually funny how Shaq is trying to get back with the Lake Show.
