I doubt we can get Samuel Dalembert but he'd do the job to be sure. He'd give us an even chance with Boston. Mitch is going to have to produce a rabbit out of his hat this time.

WTF? How would that be any better than the Odom/Gasol combo that got us to the FINALS last year?

Which one? The Curry one would come as a no cost experiment for a guy like Walton.

Dalembert is about even with Perkins so it would be a pretty fair match-up down low (Dalembert would come for Odom).

my day **** die is ruined right now and i dont even want to think about the next 2 to 3 months. How the hell does this happen. What could Bynum possibly do to piss of the basketball gods to make this happen to him not once but twice.

1) Knicks wouldnt take Luke, his contract runs passed 2010
2) Odom>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dalembert
3) Why would you want Curry when he's played a total of 1 game this season for the sub .500 Knicks?

I know there are probably some of you who have been watching the nba for 20+ years which is older than me. Bynum suffered an injuery to one knee and now to another. For example he might not be able to jump as well now because now both legs are injuried. How do you think Bynum will return?

The Knicks would take Luke because his contract is worth much less in 2010. No one is going to take Curry outright. Saving 6m for them would be a start.

- Odom does not equal >>>>>> Dalembert. Dalembert essentially evens us with Perkins.

- Why would I want Curry? Because even if he doesn't play for us ever it's better than having Luke Walton on the floor.

Damn, that really sucks. I was hoping it was just a hyper-extension and sprain. I don't believe we'll see a repeat of the fiasco that happened last season which kept Bynum out for so long. As you may recall, he had surgery late in May as a result of remaining debris from his dislocated knee cap, so I don't see that happening again.

Lamar Odom is going to have to step it up like he did for us last season (he was phenomenal the last half of the season), and so was Gasol. We can deal with this injury as long as we don't have any more to any starters, so I think we'll be fine. If Cleveland can still kick ass with Igs out for 6 weeks, then we should be able to weather this storm as well. We're fortunate as hell to be as deep as we are.

As far as the playoffs go, as long as Bynum can be ready to go just before they start then we should be in good shape. He can get his conditioning back over the first couple of rounds so that he'll be ready for when we really need him in the WC/NBA Finals.

Get well soon Bynum.

Well, I was expecting something like this, unfortunately.

I feel sorry for you guys, it's hard to lose a guy like Bynum, when he's playing like an All-Star two years in a row about the same time. I hope he recovers well, tough.

About my fantasy league, it's a keeper league, so I hope Bynum is okay for 2009-10.

Best of luck to you all.

Please tell me what's the grand advantage that a guy like Luke Walton nets us over Eddy Curry. His contract goes for more years, it's close to the same money and at least with Curry you know that he could return to being the 19/8 C that he was. WTF would Luke Walton return to being? He's a massive negative and drain on the team each and every day that he plays. Paul Pierce relishes going against him. It's not like Kendrick Perkins is going to go off for twice his average against Curry but Pierce certainly can against Walton.

SS makes some good points, the rehab this time around won't (hopefully) be such a fiasco

What in the world are you talking about?

I didn't say anything about trading Bynum and I didn't disrespect anyone. The only person who was disrespected was me by you. I've been posting here for a while so don't give that bull.

I never planned on it. I'm as optimistic as any fan can be right now. I just don't see what made Montana pop off the edge.

Right way you change your post.
By the way your the 6th grader, since you cant read for ish because the title of this thread it about Bynum INJURY not a trade thread or Luke or his contract.

And if you post something at least have the blls to back it up, dont run from it like a coward would.

I changed it because I realized it would get me banned and unlike you I don't resort to showing my balls on the internet. Showing some real testies right there buddy. I can read just fine. I made a suggestion until Bynum gets back. I gave it as an example and when asked to explain it I did.
