Is scoring 61 points more tiring?

Post#1 » by kevin_405 » Tue Feb 3, 2009 6:43 pm

Yesterday against the Knicks kobe was huffing and puffing as he scored the 61 pts..
Actually i thought he might have a heart attack the way he was playing... He had played only 36 min and also did have to do a lot on defence...

I wonder if scoring more points makes u more tired than otherwise..

No I thought he was conserving his energy properly with breathing. You could tell he took long slow breaths to contain the energy even when he was running.

Are you asking if scoring 61 points more tiring than say scoring 20 points? Lol, in general I would think so. It means your doing more and shooting more. In this case, if he constantly drove into the lane and getting fouled, that would add to the fatigue.

In the end though, playing good defense will make you more tired, especially if you're guarding Ray Allen.

Kobe's not stupid. He conserved energy by getting zero rebounds.
