Judging by the one interview I've seen, Brown seems like a good kid. But as much as I hate to say it, it was hard to see much more than that going on in there. I don't think he'll help us much more than the other Browns in recent memory — Kwame and Tierre.
After watching that and reading what Bobcats fans are writing, I'm counting him out for now and I'll call him Wafer 2.0 until he proves to me he's not. It always rubs me the wrong way when rookies talk about championships before they've even played one possession.
Advise to SB: Don't talk about championship again until you're at least ahead of Sun Yue in the regular rotation. If you talk about rings once more, chances are Phil will never put you on the floor , and you'll end up traded in the summer.
If he wants to stay a Laker, he seriously needs to focus on playing team defense. We don't need his hops, we don't need his scoring ability, we don't need his flash. We only need spot minutes of shut down defense and running the break from him.
