You just never know what's going to happen against a reckless team like the Warriors.

Now we need to take care of business against New Orleans. They pretty much embarrassed us last time on our floor.
We owe them big time. Time to send a message.
No way David West shoots that well again.

This season seems to favor Bynum off the bench when Bynum does return. Next season looks like it will be back to Bynum and Gasol starting and hopefully Lamar can continue to play the way he is now but only off the bench.
I think he can. He's on a mission this year. Drew is a dominant presence in the middle that we need to set the tone from the beginning. He also went to unstoppable mode B4 the injury. If he returns to that form & Lamar keeps this energy......................forget about it.

Oh hell yea. I remember the great start we had at the begining of this season. If Drew is back to that unstoppable mode and Lamar has that energy of the bench right from the start of next season then I think there could be a lot of talk about the best regular season record in NBA history being broken. Farmar is improving as well. Your right about Lamar and his energy because with this type of energy it will set a good example for the rest of the second unit while our starters could be getting some nice rest minutes. Right now Lamar is showing us that he can be that leader that the second unit needed all along. The game completely changes for us with Bynum back at full force and Lamar playing the way he has. I really dont see how anyone can stop us, off course I probably sound just a little too biased since I'm a Lakers fan and I'm saying this.

AHHHHHH DAMN It!!!! LOL looks like I jinxed it for us but hey I will suck it up and give respect when respect is due. I am wrong for the third time this season. I predicted my boys will win at least two so I am eating my words. I have to say we will win the finale at Staples to save some face. The two games we lost at Oracle has been a heartbreaker especially tonight. This is hard for me and now your girl Minhee will give it to me.

Shoutout to you again Deep you are a cool brother....maybe someday we will catch a game together at a bar and have a beer or two. Speaking of a drink I will now look to hide somewhere and drink my sorrow away. This is depressing. Can you at least beat those stupid Celtics?

Naw you don't sound like a homer at all. The Lakers look like the team to beat just like last year the Celtics looked like the team to beat & they were. I also agree that if we come out focused I definitely can see us threatening that record without any major injuries, plus we will have Artest next year . Hey if we win our last 30 we will tie it this year! :falloff:

^^^ Yeah you gotta give credit to the Warriors because they do have warriors on that team. They play hard. Unlike Atlanta lol!

Yeah, they played hard.

I thought the Warriors' defense was really good for stretches. They played very aggressive perimeter defense, actually. The fact that they gave up 129 had more to do with tempo, Lakers offense, and poor transition defense on their behalf. Their set defense looked very well tuned to me for long stretches.

i liked the timeout where PJ got the lakers refocused on limiting the Ws to perimeter shots

they were falling from everywhere the first 2.5 quarters, but crawford, ronny and maggette finally stopped making tough long 2's with hands in their faces

So like, didn't Kobe actually have 3 blocked shots? The box score shows 2, but I remember Kobe blocking a dunk attempt, a layup attempt (the one he cut his hand on), and a 3-point attempt.

Fantastic game to watch. I mean, these games do suck a little bit because I hate when the Lakers give up 100+ points, but damn.. both teams played hard. Pace of the game was great and it usually is always like that when we play against Golden State.

My call for Josh Powell in the off-season looks better and better every day. :P He plays hard and physical. Love his passion too. It seems after every dunk he gets around the basket, he's screaming at the bench and firing us up.

Kobe had some spectacular blocks and defensive plays. He does need to keep an eye on shooters though. 30 points, 9 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocks is a good stat line for me. His touch from the outside these last couple months (even with the finger injury) has been money.
