How will we handle Marbury in the finals

Post#1 » by kevin_405 » Fri Feb 27, 2009 5:22 pm

We are better than last year with a healthy Ariza, Luke and Famar but the Marbury and Mikey Moore addition has made Boston a much more tougher opponent ...

Our cryptonyte has been guard pentration..

Now boston can go real small with Rondo Marbury Pierce and Allen at the same time to force us to take out one of our bigs..

How will we be able to counter this..

Another thread that should be made if and when we get to the fianls and so I add who cares and why now and lets wait and I hope we make it to the finals............. To sum it all up.

COME ON GUYS, THESE FINALS THREADS of who should be the Finals MVP and how are we going to guard Marbury are a JOKE and uncalled for.
Its actually emberassing and show how arrogant some Laker fans are.

20+ games left into the REGULAR season and already finals talk? I don't care how good your team is.. but that's ridiculous. I hope you jinx the Lakers and they end up getting dropped in the first round.

As already stated, we have to make it to the finals first and the Celtics have to beat the Cavs and/or Magic first. But to address your question:

I think Marbury's name is bigger than his ability to contribute, he hasn't played for awhile, I dont think he's even practiced with NBA players for awhile. His addition is a little less impactful than the the Cavs adding Delonte West. Definitely a useful tool, but I don't think we should fear them now any more than before. I'd rather have them add Marbury than a legit veteran shotblocker (like the Mourning/Mutumbo type of player.) While we're on it, Mikki Moore, I'm suprised how much media attention the addition gets, the guy was hated on Sacramento by the fans, so i don't see how he's going to contribute on the C's.

Duh, we should be giving him and his family tickets so they can watch us beat down the Cavs.
