but it's not a detriment to the team's success
i think everyone is overreacting here, we are a really good team, easily one of the top teams in the league and probably the best when we have our A game, and that is with everyone that you guys have been mentioning. look we're not the only team with players that aren't very good at times, but that isn't any reason to have a revolving door personnel wise. We can't have a team chalk full of all-stars, it's just not happening. And moving our mediocre/bad players isn't going to yield anything other than different mediocre/bad players. Mitch can't pull a rabbit out of his hat every time, the league will get wise to his act.
even with walton, sasha, farmar, lamar, etc. we have the best record in the league, so i don't see the problem

pau probably could have gotten some more shots, but you can go to the well to many times
and kobe and ariza got hot, everyone can't score every time down
At halftime Carlisle was talking about putting more guys on Pau.
Right. They went into zone and had 2-3 people near Pau, but my issue is that the team wasn't even looking for Pau. They were simply settling for 18-20 foot jumpers. It was even more blatant with the bench when Jordan, Luke and Sasha would reverse the ball just as Pau got position and then jack up bad shots. I agree you can't go to the well too often and that Pau started playing a soft, but the fact remains that he wasn't getting any touches. That combined with the fact that everyone was taking bad shots instead of keeping with the ball movement really bugged me.
That said, a win is a win, but I just worry about this tendency to blow large leads come playoff time.

Totally agree with you, Deep.
Farmar needs to go. His on court demeanor is ridiculous. Acts like he's the ish all the time. It's good to be arrogant on the court like Kobe is, but Farmar's a hot head.
Seriously, I think Phil has to make a move to shake things up. Putting Adam Morrison in instead of Sasha would be a good start. Get Sasha feeling a little bit of heat. Maybe him sitting for a couple games will make him realize. You have to remember.. Sasha never played hardly at all to start the season last year. He was third on the depth chart for SG after Kobe and Maurice Evans. Maybe him riding the pine will get him going.
And Shannon Brown.. he needs to get minutes. I don't care if his outside shot is not as good as Farmar's or all that stuff.
Either way, I don't think Jordan Farmar should be in the Lakers future plans. Defensively, he's garbage and if things aren't going his way on the offensive side of the ball, he's useless. I think our second unit needs to slow it down a little bit and inserting Brown in would help that cause.

Agree totally TL, Shannon Brown is good enough to play on this team nightly.

Yeah, we do need to just quit with the overreacting though. Some people take it too far on this forum. We can't be calling this team bad names or something like that, that's just not being a fan. It was alright with Radmanovic, but not with anyone else.
P.S. I don't know why some people are making such a big deal about the Radman trade and it affecting our depth. Fact of the matter is, he wasn't playing anyways. And when he did play, he was even more inconsistent than Sasha - and it was on both ends! The guy SUCKED!

What an embarassment !?!? What a team ?!? Everyone deserves nothing but a kick in the ass in the playoffs !!!
Do you know what it means to see the same damn thing with this team over and over again ?!?
I can stand the heat, be sure ! But to folllow again the same things I've seen before, the same big leads blown away with everyone looking like it's not their fault ?! No !
I don't get upset by the result when the Lakers lose, but by the way they are playing most of the time when giving up big leads over and over again. Are they dumb or what ?! Last year's Finals should've been a great lesson for them, but it looks like they're too unable to learn that lesson !
That's the consistency ! That's a true championship contender ! Of course, I get too angry at times, but so am I ! My favourite team like the Lakers or Man. United may play great all the game, but after a couple of dumb mistakes, I start bashing again them...

GTFO of here bashing your namesake like that.

I wanna tell you one thing you don't know for sure. Here, in Europe, in the Eastern Europe area are a lot of guys named Alexander(Aleksander), and someone said it as a joke, but it looks like a successful one, "one out of two Sashas is stupid". Vujacic is stupid, or (Please Use More Appropriate Word). I hope you noticed that.
I hate stupid Sashas, especially those ones that shoot the ball thousands of times and still can't make a damn shot consistently !
