Thought I'd see this article here...I'm just a Portland fan lurking...

Just wanted to say that the supposed belief that we think we're your rivals is really just a myth perpetuated by the uninformed casual fan. Obviously we hate you guys because you've ripped our hearts out so many times in the past...I'm honest enough to admit that and most of us on our board are too

Some of the posts in this thread are quite offensive to me, but I guess you guys could say the same about the thread on our board about this article...oh well, fans will be fans.

they are about 1 years away from being a threat. 2 years away from being a SERIOUS THREAT.

But as far as the remarks about the Blazers, Ya your right, I GUESS, but with all do respect and you noticed I said with all do respect............. WE DONT sit on our board and drop the F BOMB on you guys or your fans everyday, but thats just me.

Most of you guys are right Portland is not on the same level, but like many WC teams the intensity level is that much higher than with other teams due to a combination of all the SoCal natives who now live in PDX, the Lakers being the top dog, and Kobe.

I'm sure the same thing happens when the Lakers visit other arenas, but clearly by the venting that is still going on and the fact that they warranted an article shows that Portland has struck a nerve.

see, i saw a lot of these comments on your board. apparently a lot of posters on your board think that the author is affiliated with the lakers since u refer to the author's feelings as if they are the same as the lakers' feelings.

"But for some reason we are the one team that has struck nerve with them."

"So the author claims the Lakers don't care about Portland, yet he goes off into 'Blazers are arrogant' rant and throws in disses towards Oden here and there? If they were indifferent to us, they wouldn't write a 3 page article about how bad our organization is."

"It's hilarious just how threatened this guy must be to write this drivel. Shouldn't LA be worrying about sizing up those rings?"

"Actually it sounds like he cares A LOT about the Blazers/Lakers rivalry."

see, these comments make no sense. the posters talk as if the lakers themselves wrote the article. i mean," shouldn't LA be worrying about sizing up those rings?", what kind of ridiculous comment is that? did the lakers write this article? lol

Since when did the truth become offensive ? What did you expect to read coming to this board about the Blazers, a love affair ? Sorry man but that was a swing and a miss on your part, nothing here was offensive.

Let it go Deep, they can sit there and talk all their garbage about Us and our fans, but the minute you say something that digs deep in their hearts they sit there and complain.
