O.T. I Challenge ALL Laker Fans

I've been on this board for a year or so and I have witnessed thousands and thousands of Topics/Posts.

In about every Thread I go into on the General Board...the conversation becomes a kobe bash from the haters and kobe defense from the Laker fans. This must stop on our part.

The Kobe Haters find a way to blame Kobe for every problem they have in their lives.

Who's the biggest whiner? Kobe
Most Selfish player? Kobe
Who do the players not want to play with? Kobe
Kobe is a chucker.
Kobe raped a girl even though the girl was a slut and Kobe got off because she was a slut
Kobe is not better than LBJ, Wade, Jordan, or even Smush Parker at this point.
Kobe is a chuck-er.
Kobe is an ****.
The Economy? Kobes fault.

etc. etc. etc.

I went into a Chris Paul Flopping thread today..somehow it came down to Kobe screaming when he gets fouls and that being equal to Players that obviously FLOP.

So here's my challenge to all Laker/Kobe fans. lets....Shutup.


Don't respond to the Haters. Don't acknowledge their presence. We cannot convert them.

I've tried...I've gotten frustrated. It's not worth it. We will all get Carpel Tunnel before we can convince these guys Kobe is the best player in the world.

Let our body of work do the taking for us. If they wanna admit it or not...we're sitting atop the West. We beat all the "elite" teams. And Kobe led us in every one of those games.

If and when we win the SHIP. We can all just say...I told you so.

So can you hold your tongue...ERR your typing fingers until June?? I know I will.



P.S. To The TROLLS from other boards reading this. You can laugh you can say what you like. But unless your a Celtic fan...You can't say **** to us cause you haven't done anything.

yup, he's right... everyone is a fan of some team especially a player.. So we'll always get them haters. I just block them out and focus on our forum most of the time. Unless my comrads need help, then i'll join on in hehe

Im in, I lurk for the most part. Very annoyed how kobes name gets dragged into a cp3 flop thread. A glance at the haters siggy or avatar ...you go "ahhh it makes sense now" kobe hater or bias favorite player guy....no wonder hes bringing up stats to underrate kobe.

I understand the GB and the Laker/Kobe frustrations. You are right, it would be the easy thing to ignore them. However, that's not going to be a collective decision.

I often post about the Lakers and Kobe and I always will. Let the haters hate. I am not ashamed to talk about the Lakers and Kobe and I don't care what the little kiddos think over there.

The main point is be respectful, post classy and don't take the 'bait". That being said, As I mentioned, we don't encourage these types of threads so it's locked up.
