Interesting Stats from Mark Cuban

Post#1 » by dingclancy » Wed Mar 18, 2009 12:54 am

http://blogmaverick.com/2009/03/08/some ... -nba-data/

Mark Cuban brought out a stat to analyze back to back schedules and it turns out we are getting the short stick this year. We have had 15 back to backs which is okay, but we have only played 7 times against teams where we are the back end of the b2b.

Compare the figures with other team and it really looks like we go the short end against the Cavs.

We get the short end every year. We get a lot of TV night games back to back on BSPN and TNT which contributes to the total. We are the West coast most likely to be televised nationally team.

Which ever conference is stronger should have less back to backs so its an even playing field?
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
