If he shoots less then there is a remark about him not stepping up when needed. These guys are only frozen out when they dont perform. Aside from times where he looses his aggresiveness, Pau never has a problem getting the ball. This is because he makes something happen with it, although he could still recieve a few more shots.

Anyone outside of kobe and pau are far from consistent and they even know it. They are pros and should use that as motivation to play defense even when they dont get the touches they want. Last year sasha got plenty of shots....because he defended AND was hitting his shots. This year NOT SO MUCH.

The only expectation I have for Kobe is to be great when it matters most.

In that regard, he failed us in 2004 and again in 2008.

Kobe should learn to trust Pau Gasol in crunchtime when his center has the hothand or mismatch. I've seen too many games this year in which Gasol was going 9/13 from the field and ddidn't get the ball down the stretch of games in the fourth. What did Kobe do instead? Chuck 3's. He made some and he missed some, but they were all contested.

I think most expect him to be the best closer in the game today, so seeing him failing at times is frustrating.
