Take care in Bangkok semi, looks like things with the anti-government protesters (who are probably in the right) are getting ugly.

I hope that Farmar gets enough mojo back to look attractive on the trading block.

I was just thinking the exact same thing.

I think his knee is still not 100% yet. It has been a bit unfair for fans to expect him to bounce back so quickly and just forget that he was out and never really got his game back.
Hopefully he gets healthy. Gains confidence, and something happens, either a trade or he fulfills his potential.

Farmar actually looked a bit fresh tonight, had a bounce in his step and hit a nice J to start off but didn't do much after that. He still gets to the rim well and dishes to open shooter but he's not finishing as well as he can and used to do earlier in the season. If only he can regain that confidence before the playoffs he could be huge for the bench mob.
The fact that we play Utah in the 1st rd doesn't help either cos Deron always killed him in the past and he doesn't have the size to guard Utah's back ups either.

Anyway, glad to hear that Bynum is back and playing well, and more importantly that he didn't get hurt again against Memphis. Did he just pick right up where he left off or what? That gives me a ton of confidence regarding our chances to win it all, particularly since we'll like have to go through Cleveland to win a title. Can't wait for the playoffs to start and I hope my roommate records Game 1 as I'll be on my way back from Thailand. Does anyone know if we play Saturday, or is our first game on Sunday?
I was wondering if you were going to get caught in all that. Talk about bad timing -- plan a major overseas vacation and get caught in a potential revolution. Look out for pitchforks and flying bottles.

Fortunately, it's isolated around the capital building so we're pretty much out of the way of it all. It really doesn't seem as bad as the media is making it out to be though. The protests were largely peaceful until the government started panicking and rolled out tanks, which is when the violence started. This seems to be normal here in Thailand as they've overthrown the government several times since 96 I believe, so they definitely get the job done. Heh.
We definitely picked a great location though. The area that we stay in became INSANE yesterday when the Songkran festivities started. The amount of people partying was incredible and it was an absolute blast. I wish I could take pictures of it but there is so much water being thrown that it would surely ruin my camera. We're going to head out shortly for part 2 so I'm going to see about acquiring a water proof disposible camera.
Oh, and the women... whooo man. Hot. I must have had 7 or 8 "strippers" fighting over me last night (for drinks, among other things) and I was groped none stop, which I certainly don't mind. It's been a blast so far. It's crazy that a few miles away these protests are going on while we're partying it up.

Told you, didn't I?
Glad to see you're having a good time and haven't been strung up on the nearest lightpost.
