At the Utah game he was trying too much of one on one stuff.. Hopefully once he feels he feels secure by way of getting more PT he will start looking to make the pass to open team mates..
For sure Shanon is the difference maker on our bench.. Among Fish Farmar and Shanon i find shannon the best defender.. and plus the guy is very athletic which means more rebounds and or block shots..
Great addition to our play off roster.. has definitly filled the hole because of Jordan Farmars limited abilities at PG..
Now we can use Fish and Shanon as PG, Farmar and Vujacic as back up SG or SF when we want to go small..

^^that's what i'm saying, use Farmar as a 2, not as a primary ball-handler since its obvious he isn't comfortable in that role.

GO BROWN!
I did, too. You have to give propers to a fringe guy who has kicked around a bit making the most of an opportunity. The only question I have is, is he just on a hot streak, or can he play like this consistently? The playoffs will be telling.

Farmar as a 2? Wonderful, I hate undersized speed lineups in half-court systems
Just leave him on the bench, trade him for a SG/SF or cap savings and then draft a PG this year to push Shannon for playing time. Farmar is useless as a 2. He can't score like a 2, Shannon's great because he can guard PGs for us why put Farmar on the floor and negate that advantage by making Shannon guard 2s?

yeah i guess you're right, its just that is a shame someone as talented as Jordan is on the bench as much as he is right now

I still see a use for him as far as trade-bait goes.
One crazy idea would be Morrison for Jared Jeffries+3m in cash+New York's lottery pick this year. Sure we have to incur an extra cost of 9m but you figure that as of now we have to probably sign another PG after Fisher retires at a cost of 3-4m a year. Once you balance that out with the cost of the 30th overall pick (hopefully) this year, over three years it's really the same cost. After you acquire that pick you could trade up using the 30 and Farmar to move way up into at least the middle of the lottery. It's rare when championship level teams get a shot at getting a lottery pick, so we should take full advantage this year.

PJ said that Shannon Brown has come in with an attitude of "tell me what you need me to do and I'll do it", and he's done just that. Defense first, then read an react offensively — when in doubt, go to "blind pig" or "two-guard fill", which seems to be the two plays he's most comfortable with.
I like this kid more and more by the game. Anyone else think Phil liked taking that shot at Farmar? I think Jordan is gone next season, too much ego.

Absolutely. There's only so much attitude you can take, even if you're Phil Jackson.

Still amazed how no one figured that a player like Brown could find a fit in the triangle. It seemed semi-obvious that if Ariza can fit a combo guard like Brown could.
