Kobe is great, but get me Lebron

Post#1 » by TonyMontana » Mon Apr 20, 2009 8:28 pm

Obviously thats not what I think since I would pick Kobe and not Lebron, and not because Im a Laker fan, I choose Kobe cause I think he is an all around better player and he makes his teammates better and I personally think that Kobe does have a higher basketball I.Q than Lebron.
And the biggest factor is I think Kobe is a better clutch player than Lebron.
But this hoopshype article asked a few players in the league about who they would choose between Kobe and LBJ and here are some of there answers.
I found it a good read so I figured I share it with you guys as well.

Who do you think is closer to winning the championship this year?

DH: I say Kobe. LeBron and his team can make progress, can make improvements… But the Lakers had a taste of it last season, so I think they have a little bit of an edge.

TY: I’d probably have to say Kobe. He has a better team and has more experience. He’s a great player, he makes his teammates better and he has been there before. They know how to get things done and I think the Lakers are a better team right now.

AT: Kobe. The guys that are with him are good and they have been there. Yeah, they lost to Boston last year. But had they won one more away, it may have changed.

AH: I’d have to say Kobe because they are on the other side and if we play Cleveland in the playoffs, I’d like to think that we might be able to beat them (laughs).

Majority would bet on Kobe, but would rather play with Lebron. Aw, so cute.

The NBA cares!

That survey is so much different than the bogus SI survey.

from what i ahve read and heard from other players when they are asked,is kobe is the better player, but lebron would be the better teammate. guys marvel at what kobe does on the court, but because lebron is perceived as more of a team guy, guys would rather play with him...

I would pick kobe as well... reason why is his workout ethic. It's sick how much he works out, but it makes him strong and solid. We haven't heard much of lebron's work ethic, but i'm pretty probably not close to kobes. Lbj is strong but he's young as well. He has to take care of his body. Plus kobe has more experience.. just sometimes kobe tries to give us a show and make ill advised decisions.. hehe

Honestly Lebron is probably 3x as athletic but luckily Kobe has more tricks up his sleave and a much better team.
