Another poster earlier hit it on the head. The brace he's wearing causes unnatural movement in the knee utilizing different muscles which is likely the source of the soreness. This is nothing to fret over, as he is still being worked into the rotation with only 15-20 minutes a night. The important thing is to get this series over with as soon as possible so he can have more time to strengthen that knee for the 2nd round. 20-25 minutes night in the 2nd round and he should be ready to go full bore by the conference championship.

No real concern from anyone's part there. What's the point in going full practice in the middle of a playoff series anyways? he's got good enough minutes under his belt to get his conditioning back and he'll just grow into whatever equipment he's having to wear right now.
