Orlando are deadly from three point range. That could kill us especially at their arena. Yes, We have HCA if we face them but can anyone stop Dwight? Bynum will be always on foul trouble and have a hard time against him. If we'll keep Dwight from touching the ball, we'll be fine. The Cavs have HCA against us but we already proved we can win on the road. They would be much easier to beat because they are one man team. I'd say face the cavs but I think they will be done in 6.

as other posters have stated, the magic are the mosnt synchronized team in the nba. the 2nd best center in the league(behind yao)

I said it on the general board. The Cavs were able to beat the Magic and that will probably give the Cavs momentum going into game 6. If the Cavs win game 6 there is no way Lebron lets the Cavs lose game 7 at home. Only thing is if Lebron pulls that crap off the Cavs will have momentum going to the finals. But the Lakers look like things started to click. I don't remember seeing Kobe being this hungry last year in the playoffs. The FInals loss last year seems to have made Kobe more hungry then ever. You don't see Kobe smiling as much now he looks all serious now. This is a good sign for the Lakers. The Magic pose a huge threat to us because of their 3 point shooting and defending the 3 is obviously the Lakers biggest weakeness. The Cavs have homecourt advanatge but we seem to match up a lot better against them.

I'd already dumped a post over on the Orlando matchup thread but to sum it up:

1) HCA is BIG. Even though we won at least 1 big road game every round so far, Quicken Loans Arena is no joke. LBJ will get the calls and the crowd will be ridiculous.

2) I don't want to play LBJ and crew after making a historic comeback. Period.

2) Matchups, we fair much better against the CAVS, but I think I'd rather have Rafer instead of Mo, try to contain Hedo/Rashard and minimize the damage from Dwight. LBJ will no doubt have at least a couple monster games. He can beat us alone, I'm not convinced Dwight can. Plus, Kobe does not have to defend a superstar and exert extra energy.

Orlando still has a good match up. But lets not act like Rashard will have it easy. He'll either have to guard Bynum, Gasol, or LO. He'll also have to keep these guys from attacking the glass.

I want homecourt. The homecourt stat speaks for itself. I think it would be very tough to beat Cleveland with LBJ constantly attacking the rim and putting our bigs in foul trouble.

At the end of the day though, it doesn't matter. Winning a championship won't be easy. I am confident we can play with both teams.

I'm going to say the Cavs. Why? Because I'm a Cavs fan! I'm not much of a homer but will always defend my Cavs since I'm a born n raised Clevelander. The Cavs will need to worry about Orlando first and take it one game at a time, but as a fan, I don't. The first three quarters of a Lakers-Cavs matchup will be great, but when it comes to the fourth quarter, it will be unbelievable. The two best players and closers in the league, and they will be guarding each other (maybe not the full quarter, but at least the last 6 minutes). With all the Kobe-LeBron puppet commercials, this series is already very much so hyped up to be one historical one IF THE CAVS HANDLE THE MAGIC PROPERLY. Just here wishing you guys luck, oh, and just a warning for if the Magic make it, another thing that all you guys are missing is that their players (Dwight and Anthony Johnson) and coaches (Stan Van Gundy and Patrick Ewing) talk a ton of sh** and make a ton of excuses and the Magic fans are the biggest complainers and hypocrites I have ever seen as they keep trying to claim the series is fixed, despite both teams experiencing bad officiating, and if it was fixed, why are they winning 3-2?? They are also being babies about Mo guaranteeing a victory, though Ewing did, Ben Wallace calling out Stan Van Gundy, though Stan called Ben out first... I may just be so annoyed with them right now since this is all the most recent stuff, but as of now, I will say that they are worse than the Celtics fans. If they win this game 6, do us Cavs fans a favor and blow them out.
