Patrick Mills would fit nicely.

I'm a fan of Mills. I combo guard with a good stroke is what we need. Shannon is possibly that guy but we'll see.

Just trade all the picks for future first/2nd rounders or cash..
Cut the Chinese noodles..
Kobe re-sign and take a pay cut so that we can sign Trevor,Odom,Shanon, Josh and Mbenga..
Dynasty for sure..

If he does re-sign... there will be some damn changes.
Well, there's going to be damn changes regardless.

Re: Who do we draft
With the first round pick: Patrick Mills, Darren Collison, or Toney Douglas. We really need a guy with some footspeed; we got lucky in these playoffs with the only speedy pg we played against was aaron brooks and his injured team. If we trade Farmar to move up I'd go for Terrance Williams to play small forward.
In the second round I'd like to see Jonas Jerebko or Vladimir Dasic. Two long forwards that have good lateral quickness, jumpers, athleticism, and can guard wing players.
With our salary cap situation and Odom/Ariza resignings imminent we really need to find some solid role players for the future. Regardless if we win or lose this year, the rode to the finals is going to be much more difficult. Too many elite teams were injured this year and everyone will be much better next year.

To some of the other opinions:
I think Mills will be gone by 29 and Williams in the teens
Don't want Collison (I've watched him for 6 yrs, he'll never be a better pro than Farmar)
I Like Dasic or Claver if we go Euro, and later at #59 one of the Euro PGs kept away for a year until Fish retires (Llull, De Colo, Tepic) provided we don't get Rubio someway somehow
Don't know much about Jo the Swede other than the name
Love BJ Raymond as a sleeper wing because he is a tenacious defender and drastically improved his stroke (sounds a whole lot like another former 2nd rounder, Ariza)
Maybe on Summers, he did play in the princeton offense which has some similarity to the Tri
Most importantly those is someone who embraces D, and if going big, also loves to board.
Also, re Powell and Mbenga, they already have contracts and only need to be exercized not re-signed. At 959k I say yes on both for bench depth!

Re: Who do we draft
This year is a deep class of decent PGs
The Lakers need to only work on drafting PGs and SFs presently. Stacked up front and Kobe is Kobe

Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

They need larger wing to combat guys that Ariza currently cannot play.

Re: Who do we draft
I'll just throw a name out there. Daniel Hackett. He's a big guard, fearless, hard nose and most importantly, he's a winner. I'd seriously consider taking him with our 2nd round pick.
