What a joke...not fined or suspended. Least we know what we can get away with next game.
Looking forward to it...

Re: Pietrus a punk?
Pietrus is a tool, the only reason Gasol dunked that ball was because Pietrus was running at him. Pietrus forced Gasol to dunk it and acted like it was disrespectful cause the game was almost over... if the game was really over you would've let either Ariza or Gasol dribble it out. I like Pietrus but that was a b**** move. Don't act like you're being disrespected and all tough; then look all scared like you did 2 seconds later.

How is he a punk? That's the farthest thing from the truth, dirty play but he is not a punk.

He actually hammered Gasol on his back. That's not a shove. I would like that ugly guy to be suspended for Game 5.

Pietrus is a frenchy b*tch. He double punched him in the back because he was frustrated. Such a classless punk. If this wasn't the finals I have a feeling he would of been suspended for sure. But since it's the finals, I don't think even Stern has the balls to suspend someone for a flagrant if the act itself is not a straight up closed fisted punch.

That being said, if the Magic were going to fold the game, they should have laid off and allowed Ariza to run the clock down.
But they crowded Ariza who was forced to make a play - and it was the right one to the open Gasol.
I don't agree with the commentators after the game who said Gasol should have caught the ball and dribbled out the clock. Nonsense, especially with the pass right at the rim. If the opponent is still playing, you should keep playing too.
Pietrus should be upset at his teammates, not Gasol.

Re: Pietrus a punk?
That was a very cheap play. The Magic were trying to foul. They were not conceding the win at that point so it's fair game for the Lakers to score.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved
