Thanks for the great 1/2 season...!

Good luck with the Rockettes!

I think there is a 50-50 chance that he reverts back to being a scrub, playing in the triangle, with Kobe helped him plenty!

When your contact is up and you want to talk about coming home to play, have your NEW agent call Mitch!

I appreciate what Ariza did LAST season and most of the post-season.

Also, I appreciate that he signed with Houston and not Cleveland, Boston, Orlando, or Denver.

Finally, I appreciate that his ingrate agent opened his yap too much, which allowed Mitch&Co. to simply cross check him and land a better player in Artest. 8-)

I'm not sure if it was Ariza getting greedy. Apparently the Lakers treated him like a rFA, and you could most definitely believe that Artest had something to do with it.

In a sense, Ariza was disrespected, but that's how the game is played.

Ariza definitely contributed in a big way many times in the postseason, so I'm very appreciative of his efforts.

Good luck, man. Sorry the Lakers cut you for a better player. Hope you understand.
OK miles my man you know we've agreed on a lot of things over the years, but I gotta go the other way on this one here. Reason being for one this as we know this was one of the shallowest free agent periods in a long time ( at least by my standards anyway) on top of the fact this is a whack economy right now.

Not just for common every day folks but for business across the nation. The NBA is no different, and I'll tell you now get ready for a lock out after the 2011 season. Back to Trev, weather you or anybody want's to admit it or not his agent burned him to shreds. He played a game of high stakes poker with an owner who has made a living gambling on things.

This whole "Lakers treated him like a restricted free agent" is media garbage spewed by Lee, Mitch did his homework which wasn't a lot to do this off season anyway. He kept telling anybody that would listen that it was only a few teams that could really wreck the Lakers and those teams weren't very good anyway.

So Mitch already knew what he was going to face, Lee didn't. He went into a fight expecting the Lakers to come out swinging but they laid on the ropes. Common sense tells me and I know for a fact the Lakers would've matched anything Lee brought back. Mitch was content on bringing back the same team, made no difference to him.

The Lakers for a while now knew they could get Ron Artest when given the first clear shot to strike. Lee gambled and played Trev then scrambled to recover his money and playing time by agreeing to Houston. I told you guys in the thread I created about Lee, that Trev could end up like Bonzi Wells.........and it's sad to say he did. I'm not surprise one bit I saw this coming.

Ahhh Trev... to me you aren't leaving.. You are just going to a jv team so you can develop as a star and come back in 3 years with a new skill set. Be sure to do some work there and get better because by then we'll be looking for stars and you have just started to show you might be able to reach your athletic potential. See you in three. Thanks for the good times and for yelling at Sasha for stealing money... or shots, I forget which.

Cheers

Damn this is a tough loss. I'm going to take a while to finally get over it. Nobody could replace the things Trevor did. He was the man.

Good Luck in Houston and hopefully you come back to LA one day and this time we can pay you.

i heard it was the cali IOUs that scared him off.

i can't help but think that trev woke up this morning and had his big WTF happened moment.

i really liked his game and think he can continue to evolve into a better player. i hope he does.

i also hope he realizes he's got a horrible agent. i think it's rediculous that lee thinks ariza was disrespected because he got offered the mle for 5 when that's what the market value is & what ultimately he ended up excepting from a team with little chance to bring ariza the glory he could have got at home.
