Nene, Kenyon Martin, and Chris Anderson are all very tough front court players. Gasol/Bynum/Odom may have more talent, but they certainly won't be pushing those guys around.

LA is the favorite out West with Odom, but in mind Denver becomes the favorite to win the West if Odom walks.

Without LO, your bench is abysmal, and you'll get to see every bit of that vaunted front line of yours on account of the foul trouble your bigs are gonna be in. You still don't have a PG who can stop the ball and starting D Fish is going to equate to a whole lot of Banging with Mbenga...

oh great. Thanks.
I will play along though. The Celtics have 2 players that draw a lot of fouls ( Perk and Wallace-- not to mention the T count--league high) The other big is coming off knee surgery.( Garnett)
You might lose BBD and have lost Powe.

What depth do you have? Scalabrine? Not to mention, many people think Sheeds best days are behind him. What's the point? Well anyone can pick a side and pick a team apart. So, until we get on the court and play, its all speculation.

Do you really think Josh Powell is a better first big off the bench than Rasheed Wallace? C'mon now.

I'm not trying to pick you guys apart, I'm just trying to point out that Lamar Odom has been a pretty big contributer to both of your recent Finals run. If you end up keeping him, I'll be the first to post over here that ya'll are the favorites to win the title.

However, if he does walk, your bench becomes real thin real fast. If you had a defensive ace playing PG who could stop penetration, it wouldn't be as big a deal.

If I'm an opposing PG, I'm licking my chops at the thought of Derrick Fisher trying to stay in front of me all night. And then I'm getting even more aggressive when Farmar or Brown come in. Surely you can't forget Aaron Brooks practically single-handidly force you guys to 7 games, right?

No, I never said that. Not even sure where that came from. Simply stating that your front court players, namely Perk and Wallace are known foul machines. ( and Tech's)

The Lakers haven't had a good PG for a long time. Yet, they find ways. And in fact, just won.

I can make statements about how the C's will have a tough time winning this year too.

Like I said, I can play the same game as you do. Yet, not matter who says what it's all speculation, until the ball games start.

I like speculating, that's why I'm on RealGM.

Anyways, good luck this year and may the best team win in 2010. I'm looking forward to seeing Ron in LA, he's always been a favorite of mine to watch. It'll be interesting to see him under the microscope that is the downtown hoops dojo.

The Lakers never had a competition in the West so I don't see it as a big deal weather you guys are bigger or smaller. This year's road to the Championship was a given. There were no competition from round 1 to the Finals. Even if they play small ball, they will still advance to the finals because all the western teams sucks big time.
