Lamar Odom

Post#1 » by crazylegshayes » Mon Jul 27, 2009 10:22 pm

If you guys don't resign Lamar, how much worse do you think you will be next year? I mean trading Lamar Odom and Trevor Ariza for a headcase like Ron Artest cannot help a team. So where will the Lakers drop in the West next season?

Everyone in the EAST reloaded. San Antonio has had a good offseason, but it's been overrated if you ask me.

Lakers clinch top seed. People forget the leadership in Kobe, Fish, and Gasol. The potential of Bynum. The toughness we needed with Artest. And there has been flashes of great bench play from a lot of our reserves that could very well be a factor --- Brown, Sasha, Farmar, Powell... even Morrison could have a breakout year.

Losing Odom doesn't sink the boat.

Haha, Fish is a great leader, but he might be the worst starting PG in the NBA. And there is no more potential after 4 seasons, potential means isn't yet, not will be. Love Brown and Powell, Sasha has grown on me, but Farmar is terrible... and Morrison... MORRISON?!! Listen, Odom was a HUGE part of your success over the past few seasons and losing him would damage the Lakers terribly.
