I would like to see it just for the "HOLY F*CK" factor.

But like someone else pointed out. Phil never even played L.O, Bynum and Gasol together last year, so theres a very small chance we will see this line up ever on the floor.

I think it could work for us. I hate when people just turn their noese up at something they haven't try yet. Lets see how it pans out in a game that we already won. The line up would front all of our best player at once and its very big line up too.

PF:Gasol
C:Bynum
SG:Artest or Bryant or Atrest
PG:Bryant or Odom

Phil's thought process was from a defensive stand point, he never said anything about it offensively. But Sedale Threatt mentioned what is going over everybody's head when this subject comes up.

Those two aspects nullify the total strength of the line up. See it goes back to the old saying,"if you gain something, you're giving up something ".

Think and absorb what Sedale said closely and remember the comment Phil said, "We'll get killed in transition".

Look fellas I think we'd all like to see it just to see the looks on the other teams faces, and like Anklebreaker said do it in a blowout or something. But having a little coaching blood in me like I do, I see where Phil's point is.

Otherwise I agree with dcash that the Odom as part of a triumvirate with Bynum and Gasol, which gives us more interior versatility and depth than any other team in the league, is his ideal role. Regardless of whether Lamar can or can't play the 3 -- I don't think he can over the course of an entire season -- that trio is the best part of our team besides Kobe.

Why screw with that, especially when we have a very capable player in Artest to play small forward?

I get this but who knows what can happen. Kobe's usually guarding the opposing teams best player anyway. Since we have Artest now he wont be deligated to that all the time now, so if he has to chase a guard around, so what.

There are many nights we have to put an A.P.B. out on Lamar even when he's in his so called best position. I think its worth seeing in a blowout type of game. What happened to the days where you threw your biggest miss match out there & let the other team prove they can make an adjustment & exploit your weakness?

I would love to see the big 5 in the game at the same time. I think in the trianle offense they can totally oull it off but I don't think it will happen although imo Odom is better then any option we have at pg.

That would be awesome, dude's a team player, banger, garbage man. But I think the league has rules against using a cane on the floor - could be dangerous. Bynum would probably trip over it on a switch and blow out his ankle or something.

If Sasha makes a comeback I would try and makeup for the fact that were are pathetically thin off the bench and go with (besides Odom) Powell-Odom-Sasha-Brown-Farmar and run when the bench is in. If Odom is resting to they can run with Powell-Walton-Sasha-Brown-Farmar.
I couldn't play DJ or Ammo unless DJ was going against a Howard or Shaq or a huge real Center.
