Early season prediction award

Post#1 » by Dexmor » Wed Sep 2, 2009 8:37 pm

Mvp Lebron James(they will have alot of wins and he will carry his team more then anybody else carries there team)

Dpoy-Dwight Howard (should be Battier imo but losing teams usually don't get awards)

6th man-Lamar Odom (even if Manu is healthy Odom is taking it)

Coy-Phil (we will have the most wins by at least 3 games)

Roy-Blake Griffen obviously

Mip-Ramon Sessions

GM-Ferry

First all nba team

Kobe
Wade
Lebron
Howard
Amare-He will be scoring alot with Shaq gone and him being the 1st 2nd 3rd option

2nd all nba team

Paul
Roy
Melo
Gasol
Dirk

3rd all nba team

Williams
JJ
Duncan
KG
Bosh

All Nba defensive team first team.

Kirk-(he should start but if he doesn't this changes and unfairly they give it to stars)
Artest
Kobe
Howard
KG

2nd all nba defensive team

Rondo
Iggy
Battier(should be first team but was 2nd team because he isn't a star)
Camby
Duncan

If I forgot anybody don't rip me a new one I might of just forgot.

Championship Winner (biggest award saved for last) Lakers over Cavs in 7

I haven't been able to decide who would come out of the East until now but with Parker and Moon there and Shaq the Cavs will have no matchup problems against the Magic. I think they will beat the Celtics but I could be wrong.

mvp: lebron..kobe

the shaq trade would affect jame's chance of winning it. its either its gonna work so well for the cavs that they would beat the magic/be the dark horse to go and win it all. or an old shaq would pull them down and become a mediocre team like the suns. good thing hes an expiring

wade if he puts up similar stats as last year and hes team gets a bit more wins and atleast advance to the 2nd round/ make some sound in the playoffs he could win it

dpoy: d12

roy: griffin........harden

6th man: ginobili

but I have a feeling it will go to someone else, and I dont see odom getting it were just too stack. his stats will probably go down a little bit again this year.

mip: hmm dont know... westbrook? but hes a young player that has very good potential so him improving would not be a surprise, but yea session getting it is a good idea, especially if he goes to the knicks and get the starting job. another one is greg oden

Can we put this off to when it has some real value. Like end of the regular season. Whats next. Who should the Lakers draft in 2011.

I said it last season, I'll say it again this season: Cleveland will not get past Orlando in the playoffs. Lebron will probably be the MVP favorite for the next 10 years or so. Not too sure about Odom winning the sixth man with all the star power we have. Look for Terry, Nate and Manu to continue to be the favorites there. Oh yea dont forget about Jamal Crawford in Atlanta now. Also there is no way Phil will win another coach of the year unless we win 70 games. If he didn't get it in 2000 or the last 2 years it aint't happenin unless we tank a season then come back and win 55. They tend to only give that award to the teams who make the biggest jump in wins from the previous season. But aside from that everything else seems good.

lighten up. It's the offseason, not much to talk about. Besides picking the mip after the season and 6th man? Yeah that's real hard.

Neway as for Lebron I think it goes to him because he will be winning but he will still be carrying the team alot and put up the numbers.

Kobe I see being very unselfish and his stats will be low (for him) and he will do alot of deferring.

Here's to Washington knocking those oh so beloved Caveliers out. I still have yet to figured out who I would love to see knock them out more, the Wizards or the Lakers. Anyway, as for your list. It's a pretty prediction on how it would turn out. It's fair. I'm not so sure on Odom being the sixth man of the year, however. He's probably going to win it by default, but I would love to see an overlooked rookie coming into the season out perform Blake Griffin also. My picks if I had to choose are Evans, Holliday or Flynn. Haha.

Thank you very much. I don't remember seeing you around, you have a different name before? Welcome to the baoard brotha.
I would also love to see the Wizards knock on the Cavs but only so we don't have to play them.
