RonRon season stats

Post#1 » by Dr Aki » Fri Oct 9, 2009 10:07 am

now that we've ronron in action... and seeing that he did very well with 12/9/7 against the warriors

what kind of stats do you guys think will ron artest be able to put up by the end of the regular season...

i dont think hed stay with the unselfish, team-first attitude 100% of the time, and he will eventually be utlised in the post a lot more than on wednesday night... and he over-achieved on the board (career avgs of 5.1 rpg) wednesday night not to mention eventually bynum/gasol/odom/kobe taking away from ron's rebound totals

im predicting 15/5/5 with a combined 3 s+b per game...

what do u guys think?

14 pts
8 rebs
6 ast
2 st

35 mpg

I don't see his rebounding numbers from the first night as him overachieving. The way he is built and the way the Lakers rebound as a team(with their bigs focusing more on boxing out then chasing loose balls) he has the opportunity to pick up a lot more then his career avg. That plus I don't see him as the type to leak out early for fast break opportunities.

He will have his moments but if we are winning games then it is "all good" for everybody... I can't wait for this season to start... Fired up baby...

13 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 3.5 apg

ron has a career high of 3.7 apg and has been around 3.4 the last three yrs. i think people are overestimating how many dimes he'll have. he's had the ball a lot and played a lot of minutes, and still was only around 3.4.

Points 12.5
Rebounds 4.3
Assists 3.2
Steals 1.3

If the Lakers are healthy during the season Ron may be taking off many 4th quarters.

Cash Money, I guess the question I would have is how many healthy weapons did he have around him? Because on this team he has plenty of options.

11 to 13 points
4 to 6 rebounds
2 to 4 assists
1 to 2 steals
1 to 3 turnovers

this seems about right due to the amount of talent we have

true, but i just don't think artest is going to have the ball in his hands creating for others like he has with other teams. more often than not he's going to be in the ariza/luke spot aka wide open three in the corner or baseline. i have him staying at the same apg as his career because of the potent weapons that he has now, which makes up for what i anticipate to be the least ball dominant season of his recent career.
