Even though LO made that corner 3, which was huge at the time but I thought it was a bad shot. Maybe its just me, I cringe everytime i see LO launch a 3. I don't think its his game and i have no confidence anytime he chucks it from out there. Watching him shoot those is like watching Luke taking a jump shot, i will always scream NO at the TV and if they go in somehow I still think its luck.

I'll do it as long as you guys come with guns blazin with me! lol

If you haven't done it yet then I would wait. I feel like a team from one of the less talented teams will open up one of those threads.

By that time I think Artest will be fairly comfortable in our offense and Bynum will be used to being the primary post guy, so maybe Gasol will have a diminished role on offense but a bigger role on defense. Bynum has been super efficient by shooting better than 60% from the field and over 85% from the line, so I'd want him to be the 2nd option if he can keep it up. Kobe is obviously going to have to tone it down as well by taking 4 or 5 shots less, so we'll see how it goes down.

I've been saying it for at least two years now.

Let Bynum build up his swag.

Bring Gasol off the bench.

He won't get less minutes. He'll still be our second best player. Many forget that Kevin McHale, the Celtic's second best player at the time, came off the bench so that Parish could do his thing in the beginning of ball games.

Gasol is so amenable and adjustable that IMO it would work out pretty seamlessly.

It is very important that Bynum is given the opportunity to be the second option even if it's only for the first seven or eight minutes of the game, plus ... just imagine how gangsta it would be to bring a third team All NBAer off the bench.

Bring Gasol off the bench? Never. Ever. Ever ever ever. Not if he's healthy.

Andrew's been great on the offensive end, and I'm seeing flashes here and there on defense which is great. I don't have any problem featuring Andrew at points, especially early.

But from the standpoint of establishing a second option -- as if stuff like that is set in stone -- I'm going with Pau all the way. He converts at pretty much the same clip, and he's an infinitely better passer. He ties everything together in our offense.

Plus, he has the two-man game with Kobe, which is something I doubt we'll ever see from Andrew, who is very much a pure post-up player. He'll probably get better at finding cutters and such, but he doesn't have the versatility to do what Pau can do in the pick and roll.

If it absolutely has to be one or the other coming off the bench -- which it won't; Lamar will be heading back as soon as Pau is healthy -- I'd pick Andrew. What could be better for our listless, lame second unit than a dominant post-up player who wants to shoot/score as much as he can?
