You can have him for 3 crack addicts, and a slab of beer. (Hold on, the slab of beer is probably worth more than McLady!)

As a Masive Rockets fan, I hope that this year is the last we see of him. I wasn't a fan when they got him, and with the exception of that one game against San Antonio, (13pts in 2 mins) I have never really seen him play well. And idiot fans around the league are voting for him for the A/S game. Like he deserves a slot! Brooks, Landry, Hayes, Scola, Battier all deserve a spot in the A/S game instead of McLady. Goes to show how mentally inept half the fans of the NBA are.

In a nutshell, I hope we buy him out, so that his toxic behind no longers sullies the image of Houston.

I'd rather a headcase Like Iverson over McLady any day. He had his chance, time to ship him. I'd even take overpaid contracts to get rid of him!

I'm down for giving McGrady a look but I rather us focus on this year first. I want Artest back in the line up and Odom back on the bench.

Off the bench maybe, not as a starter.

No way T-MAC would want to be a bench player do.

MLE next year on a PG

Sign Shaq & TMAC (ring chasers) for the vets min

MLE signing / Fish
Kobe / Brown
Artrest / TMAC / Luke
Gasol / LO
Bynum / Shaq
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!

I'd much rather see him finish his career with Vince and Dwight in Orlando.

With the article about Tmac and the Bulls I think if a potential trade James, Miller, and Salmons for Tmac happens it may make the chances of the Lakers getting Hinrich better if the Lakers are interested. If the Tmac to the Bulls trade happens the Lakers may be better able to convince the Bulls to take Morrison, Farmar, Sasha or Benga for Hinrich alone or Gray if the Bulls take Sasha.

Given his past this would be a perfect situation for both, tmac and the lakers. he'd easily get up to 30 minutes off the bench (depending on his body) at the 1-3 positions. he would be able to conserve his body while giving the lakers the ability to rest kobe and not lose anything on offense. he'd be a headache playing next to kobe and artest, he can shoot and is tall, so he'd be great in the triangle. finally, he'd replace all the pathetic backups currently slowing this team (Farmar, Vujacic, Walton) and if he came for the full MLE, that's a move you'd simply have to do.

If T-Mac was on the team now, Kobe could step back a little and rest his fingers and everything, because if there's one thing t-mac has proven, it's that he can score in a variety of ways, even if he's banged up. the guy can shoot and post, even if he's lost a step or a bit of his vertical.

The one thing he has proven that he's no leader I can tell you that, and at this point he anit worth the MLE until he can stay heatlhy.

I'm suree you know this, yet it's always worth reevaluating one's own oppinion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXUfP7fU ... re=related

mcgrady is a player in bad fortunes, his career is a lot like Kobe's during the post-Shaq, pre-Pau days. Laker fans should know a lot about how such circumstances can affect the image of a player. there's no doubt mcgrady is one of the most talented basketball players ever to play and talent doesn't vanish just like that.
