True, it would be thrice as nice if there were an actual event going on, but as someone who enjoys landmarks and sports like myself, I enjoy them, game or not. For instance, I was in San Diego (seeing that you're from San Diego) in December and made my way to Petco Park; game or not. I was in awe at how beautiful it was.

Let the OP make the judgment call on what is enjoyable or not.

Petco would be an exeption in my book because it is within walking distance of downton San Diego. Dodger statium is close to Downtown LA, but it is still quite a trek through LA traffic. the Colisium is in a place where you don't want to go to unless there is 100,000 people around and the Rose bowl that is just way out of the way hidden in the nether regions of Pasadena.

LA_Mamba, I eat at the Hat. I have one close to me in Alhambra.

There's also a good spot for Peruvian food in Anaheim. I use to go there for lunch when I worked acrossed the street from Angel Stadium. Once I saw that pic, I thought of Peruvian food.

I didn't know if I had to create a new thread, 'cause I'm coming here for advice!
I'm going to LA for the first time, and I'm gonna watch my first Lakers game , on February the 18th. The Celtics game. Just writing those words makes me over-excited... YAY!
Anyways, I'm looking for tips about the city (places to see, to stay, to eat at,...), about the game (time to arrive, what to do before,...) and anything that would make my trip/stay in LA as awesome as I hope it will be!
I'm gonna be there from the 18th 'til the 20th.

Thanks in advance!!!

(I know I posted that on the community thread but I didnt have any response, and I really would like to have some from you, soooo... :/)

The little area they added outside Staples a few years ago is amazing. Plenty of places to eat and DRINK in downtown LA w/ the boys after the game. We partied all night at Howl at the moon on Sunday at the touristy universal city walk... I would recommend it!!! Its a fun place to go even on weeknights and their is a Lakers store near bye
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
