I guess Kobe keeps up to date on the trades too.

They probably can next year for Sasha the way things are going in Houston. I doubt they do that though. Plenty of reasonable bench options for the MLE. Perhaps Duhon-Simmons for a couple million each. Not worried about next year. The team shapes us well and isn't overly expensive. Sasha can also be traded for a helpful player with his expiring.

On your last point, some teams will be desperate not to have a contract that goes into/past 2012 with the cba limbo, so Sasha should get big interest between July and next February. Hopefully July :)

Could be a more significant player than we're giving credit for right now. It would be nice if they could land a PG without increasing payroll through Sasha.

I think the Lakers may have a good chance at acquiring Hinrich in the summer Sasha still may be a part of it because his contract turns into an expiring contract after this season maybe Sasha and Brown if he opts out would be a good package for the Bulls. The Lakers will have options for replacing Brown there are guys like M. Miller, Mason Jr, Nate, Flip, M. Daniels, Tony Allen, and D. Wright available next summer.

I don't think the Lakers will have that big of an interest for Hinrich next season. With all the contracts that will be expiring this season the better question is what point guard will be available on the free agent market that the Lakers fan sign.

Outside of Felton, and Blake there aren't many other PG's available next season. So I think they will revisit Hinrich. And lets say the Bulls sign Wade or Johnson where would that leave Hinrich.
