The spurs core players are old, so they want young fresh legs coming off the bench and being the role players, for speed.


Who are they signing after the trade deadline?

The lakers have a young core (compared to the Spurs, and sans Fisher), so veteran leadership off the bench would be a bonus.


Odom, Artest, Kobe, Gasol and Fish don't need a mentor. Farmar, Shannon and Drew have these guys to learn from.

thats a low blow what has Ira Newble done in his career other then sit on the bench. Finley has always been a good shooter and he can still be a a good clutch three point shooter. I think it would help the lakers bench, he still got more left then people think.
